De manera similar se expresa Viktor Frankl al rememorar los a\u00f1os vividos en el campo de concentraci\u00f3n de Auschwitz. \u00abEl humor era un arma del alma en su lucha por la supervivencia\u00bb, escribe el autor vien\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>No es casual que en situaciones marcadas por la tragedia y la adversidad, las v\u00edctimas encuentren en el humor un recurso singular para combatir la angustia y no sucumbir en la desesperaci\u00f3n. Son muchos los estudios que han mostrado los beneficios del humor en el estado f\u00edsico y an\u00edmico de las personas, ya sea porque aumenta las defensas del sistema inmunol\u00f3gico, porque libera endorfinas incrementando la sensaci\u00f3n de felicidad o porque ayuda a descargar la tensi\u00f3n muscular.<\/p>\n<p>Un ejemplo del uso terap\u00e9utico del humor lo encontramos en el \u00e1mbito de la salud donde la risoterapia se ha hecho un espacio y hoy forma parte de muchos procesos de curaci\u00f3n de la enfermedad.<\/p>\n<p>Pero si el humor cura, tambi\u00e9n tiene un papel importante como elemento protector. As\u00ed, podemos decir que no s\u00f3lo mejora el malestar sino que, adem\u00e1s, lo puede evitar. Seguro que se trata de un descubrimiento hecho de manera intuitiva por los buenos educadores, aquellos que con una broma rebajan un momento de tensi\u00f3n, que con un chiste consiguen acaparar la atenci\u00f3n del grupo o que con un comentario divertido sobre sus propios errores quitan hierro a los fracasos de los j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p>Son educadores que entienden que el bienestar de los ni\u00f1os y adolescentes depende en buena parte del clima que se respira en clase y saben que la broma, el ingenio y el buen humor son elementos imprescindibles para \u00abcrecer sanos\u00bb. Tienen claro el l\u00edmite entre re\u00edrse con los alumnos y re\u00edrse de un alumno y no se permiten -ni permiten en el grupo- el mal uso de un recurso que saben que tiene una importante carga emocional.<\/p>\n<p>Mediante una buena dosis de humor mantenida a lo largo del tiempo este docentes transforman la vida del aula: reducen situaciones de enfrentamiento, aumentan la motivaci\u00f3n del alumnado, generan un ambiente cordial, ayudan a perder el miedo y a tolerar peque\u00f1as frustracione, crean buenas condiciones para el aprendizaje, favorecen la aceptaci\u00f3n de la diversidad y se toman con deportividad los incidentes del d\u00eda a d\u00eda propios de cada edad.<\/p>\n<p>Dec\u00eda Dickens que no hay nada en el mundo tan irresistiblemente contagioso como la risa y el buen humor, una idea que se puede constatar en la escuela al ver c\u00f3mo hombres y mujeres de diferentes edades hacen suyo el talante positivo del maestro y participan activamente en la creaci\u00f3n de un ambiente en el que las risas, las bromas y la alegr\u00eda forman parte de las relaciones con los compa\u00f1eros y los adultos.<\/p>\n<p>Los maestros que han introducido el humor en su intervenci\u00f3n cotidiana utilizan metodolog\u00edas y recursos que les ayudan a flexibilizar la rigidez del sistema y valoran elementos como el esfuerzo personal y la adquisici\u00f3n de aprendizajes pero tambi\u00e9n el bienestar del ni\u00f1o. Por eso est\u00e1n especialmente satisfechos al o\u00edr los alumnos decir que han aprendido mucho, han trabajado duro y se lo han pasado muy bien.
